A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Yesterday was a beautiful day. The sun was shining. The smell of lilacs was finally in the air. It was warm, but not hot.

And then 7 p.m. hit. The blue sky turned gray. In a matter of minutes...




Yes that is hail around my lilac bush. I have more pictures, but am having trouble getting them to load. (Will try again later.) This stuff fell for about 10 - 15 minutes. At midnight when I looked out the door before going to bed, there was still a bunch on my sidewalk.
